Prior to founding Hostopia in 1999, Nemanic had a successful sales career spanning 10 years in a variety of different companies and industries including Parametric Technology Corp., Tandberg Inc., ADP Claims Solutions Group, and others. In addition, he won many sales awards including President’s Club with ADP.
Currently Franc is a founding and Board member of the Miami Innovation Fund, a Member Investor with the New World Angels, a Strategic Board Mentor with Incubate Miami, and volunteers his time as a member of the Executive Board of MIT Enterprise Forum for South Florida. Jeri Muoio was elected Mayor of the City of West Palm Beach March, 2011. She previously served on the West Palm Beach City Commission for four years, having been reelected twice by the voters.
Mayor Muoio is a strong advocate for open, transparent government. Her ongoing “Open Access” campaign has led to numerous town hall meetings, neighborhood chats, and outreach efforts. She is the first mayor in the city’s history to make herself available for a weekly “no question off limits” press briefing. She is also the first mayor to reach out directly to residents with a Twitter Town Hall, and she and her team have rolled out new customer survey tools to collect feedback on City performance.
During the first half of her administration, Mayor Muoio has presided over the important first stages of an economic resurgence in the city. Her focus on strengthening the economy has led to hundreds of new jobs in the city since taking office. Mayor Muoio has pledged to make the City of West Palm Beach more business friendly, understanding that progress and growth are the keys to the city’s future.
Mayor Muoio has been supportive of entrepreneurs, making entrepreneurship a priority of Economic Development initiatives and supporting startups through StartupWeekend and other grassroots efforts.

In 2005, Mr. Stamas moved from New York City to Palm Beach Gardens to become Adjunct Professor of Finance, Entrepreneurship and Economics at Northwood University in West Palm Beach. In addition to his teaching duties, he is Entrepreneur-in-Residence and facilitator of the student Entrepreneurship Society which assists students with their business ideas and conducts a Pitch Competition and a Mock Investment Portfolio competition in the spring. Also, he is a guest lecturer of social entrepreneurship at FAU Honors College in Jupiter. His most recent lecture was on October 9th .
Mr. Stamas received his MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University and his BA in History from Washington & Lee University. He served three years in the U.S. Navy as communications officer and CIC officer on a destroyer.
